Day 3: The Ceremonial Start!

The Iditarod begins with an 11-mile ceremonial start in Anchorage on Saturday, March 4. Mushers and their sled dogs will get ready on the streets of downtown Anchorage early that morning for the parade-like event that is full of family friendly fun. Our guests got downtown early to meet and greet with some of their favorite mushers. Of course, we had to get a pic of them under the start line!
